Classic Delhi

This is honestly so sad.

I'm 21 and have seen all this stuff happen first hand when I was in school especially amongst guys.

Delhi has become a hellhole, especially for children. Delhi was always the trendsetter when it came to hurling abuses but it has gone too far in the past 10-15 years.

Memories of fights outside my school(decent private school) are still very fresh, people used to pick up whatever they could lay their hands on. If you were a guy who was super slim and/or on the shorter side you were most definitely going to be picked on and if you retaliated, good luck. You mess with the wrong person, there would be cars with goons and hockey sticks outside waiting for you at 2:15 sharp.

A lot of times they didn't turn violent but events such as these definitely have an impact, you never forget such an interaction.

Has the situation gotten worse everywhere or is this exclusive to Delhi?

This is true, and hasn’t changed over years. the school management does nothing despite complaints.

Plus the juvenile law in our country makes things worse. These seniors who are still minors, are murderers for the word go

Exactly! Have seen so many times teachers witness this yet they pretend it never happened. In quite a lot of cases they're probably scared as well and I don't really blame them!

This happened with my brother. He was in 5th and 9th class boys beat him up. The head mistress was unaffected. She said if you want you can change school

Wow, this happened in Rohini. Brings back many bad memories. Early teens was a brutal time to be in Delhi schools.
