Many ppl operate this in big societies from their kitchen and get crowd from own society. They earn well enough.
I know specifically for momos, nowadays there are whole-sellers and retailers. In bulk orders, you can easily get 2 rs/pc which retails at 30/40 rs/pc
Idli & vadas are also getting sold in similar model.
Might as well rent a cheap place and do it properly.
Granted if you can keep the prices low and get traction to succeed
Don't even need much, packaging and microwave
many people are doing this. Thru WhatsApp group, they brand it as home made food and sell. The menu is fixed to 2 or 3 items, orders need to be done at least 5-6 hrs before, one can come and collect it at the specified time or have it picked up.
If people are willing to do , India is truly a land of opportunities now.
