company review: slice
is slice a good company to work at? i am interviewing with them for an engineering position. please help with the details on work culture, leadership and work life balance. (engineers at slice, please help)

Have no expectations of a work life balance of you are joining in Engineering.
Read the Glassdoor reviews yourself after filtering out the one-liners written by the company's PR agency.
Slice doesn't have a proper CTO and the tech org reports to the head of data science/analytics.
There's a 'Chief Architect' or a 'CTO in waiting' who isn't trusted by the CEO/COO with people management and is not liked by anyone in the org.
There's a 'high table' culture and tech is merely a slave to bizops.

Heard it's terrible and toxic from an acquaintance who worked there.
Have a close friend worked there , CTO doesn’t know technology. VP hires developerswithout letting manager know. No HR processes. If the CEO wants everyone to come to office on Sunday for no reason, fhey have to come.

Is Slice even alive!!! After RBI regulations their business has gone for a toss...They are trying to pivot with whatever runway they have left

Was doing some research and again stumbled upon Slice’s glass door. Is this company really that bad or is it some kind of revenge against the company by few angry employees?
