Confused should I stay in .net or move to data engineering

I am in a service based company in .net for 3 years

Won't say I know very much but I can manage a bit But recently due to the rise of AI I am confused should I stay in .net as at the age of 25 what will be the state in future for enhancement based coding like java and .net

Or should I move to data engineering freshly I don't love sql very much but I can manage it a bit but used to love python for coding Also sometimes I get worried that at this age I am able to learn and adopt fast but the pace won't be the same at 35+ or 40+ so what would I do which field would be beneficial
