What is the benchmark for someone between 5-10 years of writing and editing content for an organization (not in an agency setting)?

5-10 is a large range? Hard to tell with that. It really depends on the company, many value writers, most don’t. You can usually tell by the JD. I’d say anywhere between 18-30, if you take up more managerial tasks and higher if you can negotiate.

Depends on kind of company. In tech if you can find a role the salary maybe great.
Most other standard industries also decent. Agency maybe very low
