Corporate strategy role

Hi i work in Investment banking (back end) profile. However after 4 years of spending in this team, my team has been changed to valuation team. The work in this team would take time for me to adept however to be frank I don’t like the work at all and see it to be not useful outside the team.

Meanwhile I have been offered a corporate strategy associate role at a US based company. Can anyone please tell me as to how is a career in corporate strategy supposed to look, is changing the profile worth it anymore and what sort of work we do in strategy. Really need your inputs.
