How do u make friends in a new city? what options does Bangalore have apart from work,clubs and dating apps

Hi guys. I (24F), struggling to make friends. I live alone and no one at work even talks as they’re so caught up with work and I honestly understand that. Are there any communities that I can join?

How to make friends in Bangalore? I've been working at small team startups, so there aren't many people around me. Plus everything is so far in Bangalore it takes hours to go somewhere. How do you find new friends?

I have been here in Bangalore for over a year now. Hardly made any good friends. Have explored meetups and events but I feel super bored and lonely on weekends

I'm 24 yrs old girl. For the past few months, I have been struggling with anxiety and loneliness in Bangalore. I have tried everything in my knowledge and reach. I tried reaching out to people in the office which is tough because mostly are from either Andhra or WB or Karnataka, which makes it tough to fit in as they have their own groups and communicate in their native languages as they connect more. I tried bumble bff as well. But had no success girls are unresponsive and guys use it similar to date mode. I tried reaching out to my existing friends who live far away too but it became tough to meet them. I also tried to get relocated to some other city from my office, but my request got rejected. I am not a very social person, but I do want to make friends and I'm trying too but it's just not happening for me, organically or otherwise. Any suggestions or reaching out is appreciated

Can someone tell me how to meet up new and genuine people in Bangalore ? I feel like talking in person, am I overthinking?

What started as an Instagram-inspired social experiment has turned into a startup idea. Our generation has moved on from orthodox thinking (baring few people) to more emotional compatibility 2. Men have more worldly expectations, while women seek spiritual features; none are right/wrong as long as they find each other. 3. Very glad that no one 'expected' the partner to take up gendered roles as dictated by society So, coming to the matchmaking platform. The idea is to have all aspects of life considered - personality, profession, family, demographics, physical attributes, etc. and have a weighted scale against them. Though I have my doubts here 1. An Introvert will need an extrovert to seek them but will be drained of social battery later. How do they match? 2. Physical attributes pull down people who aren't confident with their looks; that doesn't relate to how good/bad they are as partners. But without pictures, it will be a risky surprise element. 3. Prevent parents from creating accounts on children's behalf. Probably a social media log-in Share your thoughts on the compatibility algorithm and the problems we may face. P.S. I've been sitting at home due to wfh option since 2 years. I'm the only person from the team in Hyderabad location, so I don't have a seat in the office. I'm given the freedom. And unsurprisingly have no social interactions. A couple of friends keep meeting once in a fortnight but that's it. Any places that you would recommend (non-partying spaces) to hangout and meet new people, make meaningful connections?
