What I’ve followed:
Be a nice person, don’t overthink it until you’re in a toxic workplace where everybody is playing a game

If that’s the case, make sure you have a relationship with the leaders (founders/manager depending on size of company) - that they like you and trust you. Never had to do this with an ulterior motive, it just happened, and Founder’s really need people they can trust especially in complex environments.

If we skip the Monday and start with Tuesday, would it be better or would Tuesday start looking like Monday and even after skipping Monday we would be facing Monday but on a Tuesday? Till lunch I'm going to think about it
