Deadly chase for Charan Dhul (dust of his feet)

At least 121 people died while trying to get Baba's Charan Dhul (dust of his feet).

"The chaos unfolded when a massive crowd of devotees gathered to collect ‘Baba’s Charan Dhul,’ causing a commotion that led to a tragic stampede near a field where the Satsang was being held. 

As devotees fell, others rushing towards the Baba's car did not bother and crushed them under their feet while trying to follow the vehicle."  

According to the sources, the Baba, who served with the UP police before allegedly being sacked following a ‘sexual assault’ case, had also been booked a few years back after he claimed that he would infuse life into a dead child in Agra.

Interestingly Bhole Baba’s name does not figure in the FIR lodged by the police in connection with the tragedy.
