Desktop Monitors
I am setting up my wfh setup . Suggest some good monitors options you guys are using. Thank you.
If you're connecting your MacBook, then I'd recommend either of two options
- 40-43 inch WQHD (2K)
- 32 inch 4k Make sure you have thunderbolt connectivity on the monitor. It becomes very convenient to connect the laptop with just one cable and even work with the lid off if the screen gives enough real estate.
Make sure it's ips panel screen, eyes won't get strained much with it. It should have antiglare coating, to avoid reflections from room light.
Make sure it has multiple connection options (hdmi, vga etc), so that you can connect personal and office laptop at the same time.
Optional: height adjust or screen tilt if available
Aren't IPS displays prone to edge bleeding and IPS glow
I own a Samsung 27inch 4K monitor after using it for a week the IPS glow started to appear at the bottom corners when content on the display is black/dark. Thanks to 3 year warranty because if there will be edge bleeding then I'll be getting a replacement
