Definately, the move won't make much difference in their numbers or anything. They do have to catch-up with Zomato.

I was just commenting on Swiggy making a move like this. Anyway, even if Swiggy wouldn't have pushed him out, he wouldn't have stayed as a shark if Swiggy would sponser that show.

I guess they just wanted to stay in the news some or the other way and sponsering a show which airs at prime time on national television should be a good way, but I wonder how many people who watch Shark Tank in TV and don't know about Swiggy.

At the end, it makes all the media to look at them, people to look at them and fuel their IPO. I'm sure they will cut their marketing expense once IPO is done as they are spending too much on it
