Do you guys have a diet plan? I haven’t followed any such plans so far, but I'm now thinking of having one. This is what I got from chatgpt. Any changes, please let me know:

Yeah this is on their website and just google it you will find it. I have stopped eating normal rotis as 4 of these protein phalkas keep me full entire day.

May feel bitter to start with but eventually body will get habitual.

I would say the easiest thing is to decide what your aim is: I didn't have to lose fat so my trainer advised this to me:

Add 2 eggs to breakfast (Poha or Upma) Add Low fat paneer to Lunch (2 roti/rice with greens) Add chicken breast to Dinner (2roti/rice with greens)

Fruits for snacking Protein powder after workout

I've reduced BF% by 2% and improved muscle mass while increasing 2-3kg weight

Albeit - workouts are intense (5-6 times/week)

My workout is six times a week, plus I’m vegetarian. Though I’m gaining muscle, I went from having 69kg to 78 now.

Overall posture is good, but I think I can work on my abs now; I don’t do abs at all. Legs, shoulders, chest triceps, and back biceps—that’s it.

Ahh, My bad for assuming that. Definitely train abs once a week though, I also have that aspiration of abs but love food too much to sacrifice for abs 🤓 All the best! 😁

To get toned & healthier body, and reduce belly fat.

"getting toned" and "lose belly fat" are common buzz words. let me try to reprioritize your goals:

  • get a better body composition ( you want more of your muscles showing)
  • fat loss (because you cannot target fat reduction in certain areas)

as for your diet there are 2 things i can tell you:

  • You need adequate protein intake for muscle protein synthesis. Aim for > 1.5 gm / kg of body weight per day.
  • Fat loss requires you to stay in a calorie deficit ie. energy consumped < energy expended.

while in a calorie deficit you will lose both fat and muscle to avoid/minimize this you need to do regular weight training. (3-5 sessions per week)

it is possible to lose fat and gain muscle only for the first few months of starting weight training

I reduced 7 kg in exactly 4 months. I kept a target of 10 kg loss overall by December. No diet plan, no fancy charts. 1. I reduced food intake. 2. I eat morning and night. In between I take short meals like a banana, almonds, cashew whenever I feel hungry.

It took me almost 6 months to gain 9 kg of muscle. I used to take protein after workouts, but my food intake is irregular, hence I’m thinking about a diet plan.

Ok. Good. Chose what is appropriate for you. I was 83.5 kg overweight. So decided to reduce my weight instead.

Move carbs to the day instead of night.. Source: My mom has undergone a procedure and she has followed a 4 month professional diet plan for weight loss and muscle building. She is 51 and lifts more than 23 yr old me 🥲

I’m also 23, would love to hear more. I’m newbie on these terms, so what should I change in this plan?

DancingMarshmallow

difficult to follow such plans for years. instead try to learn the basics of diet and workout. in most cases if you eat enough protein and avoid desserts and ice cream you will be able to reach really good body fat % with good muscles

SqueakyCupcake

Yess, I need to stop with sweets actually. I’m hardcore sweet eater! Def have to learn the basics, related to diets I’m pretty much newbie. But I can follow with some changes on taste.

start with portion control then. Be conscious while eating and eat slowly. you will automatically start eating less.
