Do You See the Glass Half Full or Half Empty?
No matter how much I try, I tend to be more pessimistic than optimistic. I don’t want to be, but it’s just how I see things.
For example, when I hear about a startup raising millions in funding, my first thought isn’t - that's a great thing, it's gonna help the community and bring opportunities! It's - How long before they burn through the cash and struggle to sustain? Be it startups or any things in day to day life.
Do you also find yourself thinking this way, or are you naturally more optimistic? How do you shift your mindset toward optimism? I feel like my pessimism holds me back and I often dismiss ideas that could actually work just because I assume they won’t.

Start of my career, half glass full. A decade of corporate life all I see is vast emptiness....
"when I hear about a startup raising millions in funding, my first thought isn’t - that’s a great thing, it’s gonna help the community and bring opportunities"... This was me too a long time back. Now " why the fuck do I need cola or mobile in 10 mins?. Why would these people value a online tuition center at 3 bill?,.... Raised 15mil? Ab ye podcast karega aur Gyan baatega ...

Experiencing the same thing, pessimism has taken over the optimistic mind I had earlier. Do you think it's because of a lack of self achievements? Or self doubt made us the way we feel now?
I see glass half full of water, and the other half full of air 😊

Half full of water, I like to be happy with what I have. But this attitude is really bad for growth.

Empty. Always empty
