Does companies get blacklisted is it real?

I am currently working under a south indian based IT consulting company, but they have projected me to clients as experienced but in fact i am not. Though I am good at work and got lot appreciation from clients, am worried that my company reputation has gone south and my colleagues say they cant find jobs anywhere else all are rejecting if we apply with this company name. please advice.
