Dunzo not in a great position
First, they had a layoff. Some people in the leadership quit. Middle management people are quitting. They shut down majority of the dark stores. They are pivoting their business. They are out of runway.

Makes me wonder why the emphasis to work from office by other companies, when wfh can extend company's runway
WFH works well in engineering and PM, but it’s harder in roles like Operations, Sales and Account Management, Finance, HR, Support or any other teams where there is daily coordination between different teams, and approvals are required. It takes lesser time to get approvals or get someone from another team to get the work done when you are working from office, because you can just go to l their work station and tell them to do it then and there. On call, people would just say that they are busy with something else, and it’ll delay the work.
What a downfall! Sad to see startups like Dunzo going down the drain.

Since I am Done-Zo with Dunzo, AMA anything. Here to spill all the scoop that’s happened.
Dunzo gonna do layoffs today in all hands around noon. Most of Managers and senior devs will be impacted including couple of DOEs
Dunzo laying of 20% or 200 employee (approx) majority in tech and product. Is this end of dunzo?
Hope they get their severance packages (I mean salary).
