Fear rules...even on grapevine.
Till 1947 Indians were made to lick the boots of the British Raj. The overlords. The 'saviors' of an inferior race. The fear mongers. That fear has got coded in our DNA. It hasn't changed much. Biggest indicator of that NCCS A workforce belonging to the younger millennial and gen z generation fearing to name wrong doers in an ANONYMOUS app! We are not very different from our parents and grandparents who had lesser choices to revolt and stand up against unfairness. Sad.
I agree with this
There is something that holds us back to come out and fight for what’s right, no matter how grim the situation.
Not good for a society.

The same British Raj behaviour is still exhibited by our politicians (hell I have actually stopped putting my opinions on social media fearing FIRs 😀) who hold the control over the success or failure of most corporates. Then there is the shoot off of societal pressure.
Pretty sure the narrative of most of us is "if I name someone they can still track me down --> I'll lose my job --> I won't have money --> I can't travel or party --> I can't post anything on Instagram --> people will judge me --> my parents will be sad --> chalo I won't name"

So self preservation = licking boots of the British Raj in your book?
Always interesting to see how some peoples brain work

So it is correct.
People influenced by twitter HAVE to argue facts

Facts are the only thing you can realistically argue, not feelings
Self preservation is a strong motivator.
Indians are conditioned to bow down and be nice. The colonial servile mentality is still not leaving us.

Well, it goes further back than the British. US won its independence in 1776. We didn't till WW2 broke the British Empire. We couldn't win our independence, because frankly we are a bunch of pussies. Each guy for himself, no courage, no spine, no moral. Indians never stand up or stick their necks out for what's right. It ultimately goes to how strong morality is. All countries with a weak sense of what's right and wrong are poor, underdeveloped, corrupt.

Amen
Our hands are more tied by money than fear. The law here will protect the one with most money so u can be fearless then
Thats called being smart, you cant do shit like burning the flag in US, they will kill you, literally. In case of ratting out companies, there are multiple factors, one you can get doxxed if you reveal minor details, second grapevine does have your contact. IMO its not worth it to name and shame for the kicks if you remotely have chance of getting in trouble.
If India did actually had a fearful/submissive attitude that would have shown inside households, where that same bending, bowing man beats the shit out of his wife.

Before the British we served the Indian rulers, upper castes, our family traditions and what not.
It nothing new. It’s sad, fear is something that has been used to control society for generations.
It’s ok if people are not willing to name and shame a company or person. Let’s not force them. People who strongly feel the need to name people will do it. Asking these folks to name and shame will only change their grape count, not their decision.
Peace ✌🏽

Bro needs to understand that this app is only anonymous for bakchodi.
One opinion serious enough to warrant a legal notice will make them spit out your exact number and maybe even geolocation.
Have you seen their usage advise which clearly tells not to name any company or person ?
