Masters entrance tests

I did my btech from IIT in 2022 and then have been working for the past 2 years. Now thinking of going for an MBA but confused about whether I should go to IIMs or go abroad for an MBA. I need help in deciding further steps as I want to plan it out for the year 2025. By that time I will have a work experience of 3 years. Also would be helpful if people can suggest which are the best sources and materials from where one should prepare for CAT & GMAT.

It’s quite expensive to pursue one, but I’m worried not doing it will stagnate my career long term. Any views on whether I should apply (4yrs work experience currently, have worked in a boutique consulting firm previously). Any help will be sincerely appreciated!!

Hey people, I just started preparing for CAT'24. A bit about myself- Graduated last year, with an Engineering Degree, working as an Associate Product Manager (~1 yr). I've started with IMS modules and solved a few previous year sectionals, not complete papers though. I take out time to study on weekends and on days I work from home. Could anyone suggest a strategy; as to what topics to target first, what modules/ mock series to purchase, if needed etc. Thanks, looking forward to your suggestions.

Need advice on how to proceed with GMAT preparation for fall 2025. Are consultancies like careerlabs helpful or even needed for profile building?

Are there any grapeviners out there who have gotten admissions into tier 1 MBA institutes? Can you help me out with some advice - i’m looking to attempt the CAT and GMAT later this year and am from a marketing and creative background. What was your study / coaching situation like? Did you go to coaching classes and which ones are good? Are online coaching classes good, did any of you take that?

Need guidance and how you are preparing for GMAT

Folks, I graduated from a tier 1 commerce college in 2022. Tried taking CAT 2022 and 2023 but couldn't get a good percentile (below 95 both times) I have 2 years of work ex now Shall I take CAT again or go for GMAT from abroad?

I'm an arts major working in the communications space, planning to do an MBA. I've GMAT focus books and English seemed doable on my own. I've been using online resources to study Math but I'm very confused as to what to study and how to study. So I've decided to go for a coaching but I've no idea which coaching is actually good, especially for someone who doesn't come from engineering or other Math background. Jamboree is charging over a lakh for coaching plus counselling on admissions while there's Y axis which is charging much lower at about 50k but doesn't have many reviews. I also read reviews on Jamboree being the typical marketing institute and not worth for money. Has anybody actually taken up or know anyone who has taken up GMAT coaching that helped them? It's critical I start preparing now if I have to start my MBA in 2025. As there are a lot of business folks here, I would appreciate any genuine help you can send this way. Thank you

I am a 26F, 3yoe in advertising and marketing. I'm tired of being in agency side and serving the brand. I wanted to shift to brand side for that I'm planning to give CAT and get an MBA from IIMs. To be honest I feel super underconfident to give a try. I am disappointed with myself and throwing a lot of self hate for this attitude towards my preparation. Anyone who has cracked CAT could teach me how to overcome this would be highly appreciated.
