Meesho DS Interview

Currently, I have one offer of 18 LPA (15 LPA Fixed + 3 LPA Variable Pay), and my date of joining (DOJ) is 14th August. I have already accepted this offer. However, today, I received a call from Meesho HR, offering to pay 30% more than my earlier offer. The process involves four rounds. Given that I have only 10 days left until my DOJ, I am feeling confused about how to proceed. What should be my ideal approach in this situation?

Meesho is paying more because it's overvaluing you as a resource. Don't get surprised when 4-5 months down the line you are shown the pink slip because revenue/salary didn't get justified.

As a Meesho employee, I think you can join if you like to not worry about work life balance yet. The company is pushing hard for profitability. Unlike what others mentioned - Meesho is not a hiring and firing spree. We had layoffs 2 months ago, yes, but nothing happened after that. Our cofounders have promised several times that it will be the last.

Meesho is known to hire and fire. You don’t want to be looking for a job in 6 months, and unemployment for 3 months will remove any financial benefit you had with Meesho offer.

Bro, I believe you should interview the HR first. What did you sense when you spoke to here? Did she check on your professional and personal ambition? Did she make the call about you or only Meesho? Did she tell you who is your hiring manager and what is the size of the team you are going to get into, did she try to know about your core values, if yes does it align the team at Meesho? Or, it's just money that they can offer. Also, are you also inclined towards the problem they are solving? Did they ask about your preferred industry?

Please help me decide on which one to pick from an overall perspective. My Profile:- 2.2 YOE as an analyst at a service based company (Tredence Analytics) want to switch to a PBC. Swiggy:- Role offered:- Business Analyst Comp:- 15 LPA (all fixed) no JB, no ESOPs Location:- Remote (Huge Plus for Me) Meesho:- Role offered:- Business Analyst Comp:- 14 LPA (base) + 2 LPA ESOPs + 1 LPA JB Location:- Bangalore Folks from Swiggy and Meesho , Please Guide your pal on the basis of work culture , growth prospects and overall career trajectory. Personally I am inclined towards Swiggy due to remote working policy but don’t want to make a decision solely on the basis of it.

I am slightly confused about which company to join from the following: 1. Meesho ( Unicorn Startup) Role : APM - 1 Salary: 17.5 (Base) + 8 (ESOPs) Mode : 2 day work from office 2. Wingify (Bootstrap B2B SaaS startup) Role : PM Salary: 15 Base + 1 Joining Bonus + 1 Performance Based Bonus + Unknown Performance Based Stock Options Mode: WFH 3. Docsumo.ai ( Seed funded Startup) Role: APM Salary: 17.5 (Base) + 1 (Fixed Bonus) + 7 ESOPs Mode: 3 day work from office Currently : APM at a seed stage startup 15 Base + 1 Bonus + 2 ESOPs YOE: 1.3 Would really appreciate insights/advice on how to approach and also how to negotiate with Wingify.

Negotiating Salary but..

I hold an offer from a company and they have shared with me the onboarding process for background verification and that has to be completed within 3 days. DOJ: Feb 2nd week However I'm still attending interviews to match/negotiate for a better compensation and these interviews can take a week or so. Is it okay to complete the document verification process and later get an offer to negotiate for a matching compensation with the current company or should I stall from completing the document verification process till I get an offer?

here's why you should hire me (im 22, based out of Bangalore, graduating in 3 months) - 1) worked in 4 startups prior to this, with roles ranging from machine learning to product. I am done with Meesho. The work is great but the reward structure has become shit. The leadership has become hypocrite over the years and if this goes on then soon most of the talent would leave this super high density talent company. Feeling betrayed post the layoffs and the promo cycle, I am looking for new product opportunities, please help if there are any openings at your organisation 🤕
