Manager keeping me in his shadow
My manager goes into meeting without me a lot of times. Later he comes and explains me what needs to be done. It makes me feel like his assistant. If this continues, how will I make a presence of my own in front of the stakeholders? Ultimately I need good reviews from them and not just from my manager for a good appraisal. How should I deal with it or convey it?

Easier said than done, but only solution is to confront. Need not be rude, just ask next time if you can join these meetings so to clear any doubts you might have, ask questions, put in your ideas etc.
