Don't have a job and going to graduate in 1 month

I am a fresher doing b.tech in cse, I don't have a job right now, my previous company declined thr joining due to which I was not able to apply for other jobs coming on campus. My friends got job somewhere, I feel very disappointed in myself and I can't see my family lower their expectations in me. Mentally I am not in the state to do anything, I think my life is falling apart although it didn't even start. I am lacking motivation, I cry all the times thinking what will happen now. My father is retired, he's getting old, I want to give him that luxury and things but I can't get success thay easily. I am struck at the lowest point in my life. Even my friends are not helping me. I don't share my feelings with anyone. I don't know what to do should I look for a job or start preparing for MBA or MS in USA. I know this point came in life of many people, please help out I can't see myself going anywhere.

Hey there! I can feel you, I was in the same boat a year ago. Everything feels like falling off, and no matter how much people say to upskill, it's just too tough. I assume you have fairly decent skills. And Opportunities are the main issue. (I'm just sharing my story/pov) I was shattered, and panicking. And unable to focus or learn anything. I was stuck & unemployed for 5 months. But somehow I got a job, at a service-based company. Really toxic environment, but I got what I needed the most at that time, "time". Breathing space. I knew I had to move out of there, but considering the fact I had a job, I was not in a panic mode and was able to learn at a much higher rate than being unemployed. I've switched within 6 months to a startup and got 2 more offers. With much better pay & learning opportunities. Skipping the remaining part. What I want you to do is - Be hopeful no matter what. Just be hopeful, even if that means 0.00001% - Do not force yourself. You will break down. - Explore tech, not just skills, but communities, how people are doing, what are they doing, what big techies suggest - No, not those Microsoft waale bhaiya didi, but core tech people, talking about Distributed Systems, DBs, Research Papers, Infra, etc etc. - Learn to trust yourself. Networking. Be shameless for referrals (ofc within limits) - A lot of startups are hiring. And they always do. Reach out to cofounders or CTOs or tech leads. Show what you got. 100s of them might reject you, but we only need 1 job right? - Applying every day, is a really really tiring & exhausting process. Tech hiring is broken. Reach out to people instead of systems. - Learning every day is really hard, but make sure you do it at least for some time. For instance, if you are looking for a frontend role, make sure you write some JavaScript or React, every week. - Everything is random, and nobody knows what will happen next. It just takes one day to change your life.

Lastly & most importantly. Trust yourself. Things will change one day. Accept what's happening with you. It's okay, it's not unfair, it's okay. Take care.

Well , as you are going to pass out this year start applying for job offcampus, as you are fresher there are plenty of opportunities for you , you can get a job very easily don't loose your hope , you are not in a race ... Take your time ...start applying in the jobs out there and after gaining some experience you can decide rather you want to switch or pursue higher studies because for mba or ms you need some work experience. You got this ...you will soon land up a nice job ...stat motivated and meanwhile work on your skills all the best 👍

Apply for full time job , there are so many telegram groups , job page on Instagram who post job openings specifically for freshers like 2023/2024 pass-out...an entry level job . Start applying in those company it's not that difficult you will get it don't take too much stress ...one thing at a time .
