They've been around for a while. It's a paid format only afaik, no freemiums to fliter out casual folks.
I've never heard of a lot of people dating or getting hitched through there though. And the founder seems like someone is forcing him to do personal branding lol.
Their content game is pretty good these days.
Maybe you've confused it with betterhalf.ai that's paid only.
Aisle has free version that allows chat.

I signed up when they had just started, it was paid only back then iirc. So I ended up skipping.
I remember they even called me up to verify and ask a few questions about myself to screen obvious grifters.
Same skewed gender ratio, but found women to be " more serious " than Tinder/Bumble.
