Ever humbled a hiring manager ?

I was interviewing with a ed tech so called startup @vedantu the recruiter seemed very unprofessional and I asked that I joined a comapny recently is it okay ? The recruiter was fine (red flag 1 ) Went on the call seemed completely behavioral wasn't interested to know about me at all Ended the call with my expectations which I quoted 30lpa, His facial reactions completely changed he wanted me to justify it to which I told I bring in 5 Years of experience at 21 if at all it was from a IIT a similar guy would've cost you in CR, I'm using if it all here because there legit people not more than 50 I assume in india who start working this early and can have 5 Years of experience at 22

The hiring manager was almost berserk on the answers and seemed triggered after it ! Indian recruitments are a shit show and we are all completely responsible for it !

A lot of times, technically I humiliated a lot of hiring managers. There are people who sit not for taking interviews but rather showing off his/her technical knowledge. Few days back I humbled a female security manager by asking cross questions which she never heard of even. Later I rejected her offer saying " I would like to report someone who knows what I am talking about and who can help me to grow, I don't think you will be helpful to me on this"

I think it's time we all collective make a thread for it !

Current and expected CTC

Recruiters always ask for your current compensation which is technically 'confidential'

It's unfair for you to disclose your compensation without getting something in return.

Let's CHANGE the tone of these conversations.

I always ask ...
