My org has 90 days of notice period and the culture is too toxic for me to stay for this longer. Should I start applying for jobs or just quit without an offer and then start applying? Have 3 yrs of experience as PM in payment industry.

Hie!!! I am currently working at a startup where I need to serve a 90 day notice period. I am applying to various companies but after the initial screening they are ghosting me(I guess mainly because of np). Should I quit and apply. I am worried, what if I am not able to get jobs after 90 days. I have more than 2 years of experience. I don't have any financial dependency. In my current organisation for the past few months, I don't have enough work to do, that's why I'm looking for the switch. Buyout option is by having to pay the equivalent of 3 months, which goes beyond 200k. I am not willing to pay a company this much amount, given I only earned 300k from them. Should I first apply for notice period and then start interviewing or first land an opporutnity and then apply for notice period.

I am currently serving my notice period (90 days). Had decided earlier to quit and then look for a role so that I can job hunt in relative peace without worrying about job performance (high impact and demanding role). Was interviewing with a bunch of startup’s and almost every hiring manager and HR asked about why are you quitting without an offer? Same people when I was interviewing while working were concerned about the 90 day notice. Is this considered as a concerning behaviour? Or just a negotiation tactic. Also, what is a correct response to this question in your opinion? The truth seems incredulous to these folks.

Because of 3 month notice period lot of calls stopped.

Few months back I was put under pip. It's a well known org and I had been only with them for 1.5 months and in probation when they did this. Their reason: 'its just a hygiene thing' and that I'm 'too introverted' and should 'interact more than just focusing on work.' I'm certain it might be because of team biasness and bootlicking since manager claimed my work has no issues during our meeting. Fast forward to 3 months later, I'm yet to receive a pip plan or a judgement criteria or any written communication for the same. I'm not sure if I have any job security or when will the pip end (all attempts to get clarity on this were refuted). What should I do? Should I wait for things to become clear or quit. It's been only 6 months and I'm worried switching so early will look bad 😔 on my cv. My notice is 90 days.
