IPL lost its charm 🥲

Today another record broke in IPL that is the highest chasing record with the marvellous century of marvellous player Jos Buttler.

I genuinely don’t feel like we are hosting a cricket World Cup in our country this year. In 2011, the hype and craze around us hosting was way higher. Stadiums were better filled them for other games apart from Indian games, while I saw at least 5-10% empty seats even for the India v Aus game even though everything was apparently sold out in minutes on BMS? Is it a PR/marketing problem or is the hype from the sport just not great anymore?

Seems like defeating Pak is more important than winning World Cup

I used to ignore IPL until this season. I don’t know why but this season is just way too much fun. Not sure what’s the reason but I end up catching up to IPL highlights at the end of every day. Anyone else in the same boat?

Do you guys still moan about losing the world Cup. Or have you moved on. I think this was our best chance to win it but we lost our chance. I also think we will not be able to win major ICC tournament in future by seeing current team status. What are your thoughts?
