Any idea on what companies these are and how the pay is compared to software PMs?

I've seen these roles at analytics SaaS companies or data companies like NewRelic, Atlan etc.

I'm currently an APM (1 yoe). Even though the pay, wlb is much above industry standards I feel an itch to work and build in an IC role before eventually turning

I'm currently an APM (1 yoe). Even though the pay, wlb is much above industry standards I feel an itch to work and build in an IC role before eventually turning to PMing.

1. Data Engineering
2. Data Science 
3. Software development

SDE to PM would be pretty standard with a wide range of options available but wanted to get opinions on what niche PM roles do DE and DS open?
