Suggestions for getting PM interviews after 7 years of SDE experience

looking out for transitioning from SDE to PM but not able to get offers. Any suggestions ? YOE - 2

How are these people getting such good offers with very low years of experience. I have 4+ years in FE and now just shifted to product management, my profile won't even get shortlisted, forget getting an interview. What can I do to increase my chances of getting interviews in good product companies and have a shot at getting 30+LPA

How one can transition from SDE to PM and not in the same company?

Profile: - Engineering degree from a Tier 1 college - ~3 years of experience in product and analytics in adtech firm - Currently serving as a lead product analyst, earning around 15 LPA. Worked tirelessly to switch roles to a Product Manager position, but was denied by management and received an underwhelming appraisal. As a result, I feel that I'm not earning my true potential and feel devalued by my firm. I am considering a switch, I would appreciate guidance on whether it's a suitable time to make a change, or if I should wait until the job market recovers.

Where can I find startups that are hiring for APM/PM roles with 1.5 years experience in SDE? Or is there someone who can refer?

Had started my career as a android developer for 2 years. Was fairly good at it. Went for a MBA from IIM K and joined a fintech startup as a PM. Around 5yoe PM now Keep regretting on and off how life could have been as a developer. 1. Crazy salary- esp after covid. Almost every org ways way more to a dev than a PM 2. Lot of options in job market - Unlike PM where demand is far less than supply 3. Specialised role - unlike PM where there is literally no entry barrier 4. Hard skill - unlike PM where everyone keeps questioning the need of the role 5. Chiller life - unlike PM where failures are yours but success is team’s Does anyone else feel the same?

Hi folks, I work at a startup (been 2 years now) as a PM. From the last 12 months, my work has mostly revolved around strategy, business intelligence, program/general mgmt. I am now planning to quit and move on. However, I am not sure if I want to continue being a PM, because it's very overwhelming honestly and I actually enjoyed the last 12 months as a generalist. Need career advice from fellow PMs whether to pursue program mgmt/strategy/general mgmt/Chief of staff/new initiatives roles or devote 100% of my time to prepare for PM interviews and also try to make up for the last 12 months by doing side projects and maybe even interning under a senior PM Some pointers about me: 1.
