Laptop repair Urban company

Looking for recs to replace Microsoft Surface Book i5 battery. I've been having issues for the last few months with my Surface screen attaching/detaching randomly, and laptop completely shutting off after its less than 40%. I'm quite sure its all battery related and looking for recommendations to replace my battery. This is probably a long shot but my question here is how many of you have successfully replaced you Surface Book i5 battery?

I installed the latest OS and my laptop is giving me the black screen since. Apple service center is asking for a 2.5k just for diagnosing the issue. Is it okay to go to a local repair shop? Any suggestions? I don’t have Apple Care.

I'm facing issue with the battery..and the dell laptop is not powering on.I have purchased it in 2016, hence need a trustable Dell service center.

I have shortlisted Samsung book 4 pro ( ultra 5, 16 GB, 512 gb) and Asus Zenbook 14 oled( ultra 5, 16 gb, 1 tb). I don't have confidence on Asus because as a brand I have everything from Samsung (AC, fridge, phone etc..) If you guys know some other model do let me know.

Joined a company recently and they gave me a shitty Linux laptop whose screen is just unbearable for me who is used to using Mac for past work experience. How to handle this? Before joining I presumed they would give Macs but they didn't.

I took my Macbook to Apple Care, quoted 45,000 for servicing the motherboard. It sometimes turn on and sometimes off. Does anyone know 3rd party providers who maybe able to solve it without quoting such huge prices? Folks at Apple Care would probably replace the motherboard instead of repairing it.
