What is the one best skill you would like to have in your manager?
Empathy for his team
Have worked with 3 managers, and have realised this is the most critical competency that I care about. If your manager is not invested in your growth, what brings value to you and find ways you can add value to the team, other things don’t matter
My current manager is kashmiri "cool dude", he's blessing in disguise, he's debugged code with me at 11pm when crucially needed, and also allows me to skip daily standup calls when I don't have any point to talk.
