Feeling Low about Salary

Having almost 6yrs experience with single digit salary 😭 every friend and colleague are making a killing every recruiter I speak to just offer x% over last CTC but not the amount I ask stating budget issue. This is taking a toll on my mental health unable to focus on up skilling / working in current org plz help not sure what to do.

Hi folks, I have been part of one company for 9 years. I feel like bored and mundane. I am trying to switch jobs for past one and half year and unable to crack any interviews. Each interview slips because of some reason. Now my current company based on my performance asked me to find job somewhere else within in few months.. I am still unable to clear interviews.. Sometimes feel very downward because of this but deep inside I feel like I am more worth than this.. Market is also so uncertain now.. My salary is 32L.. I feel like I am stuck in my career. Any advice or recommendation?

I was hiring for a web designer in last role. We had an internal referral, and I checked her portfolio before reaching out. She had multiple projects, worked with many customers across countries, the designs were fresh and inviting, no clutter. She was the one (for the role)! Exactly what we were looking for. I had a budget of 25-30LPA, had quoted 19-24 LPA (because well) Her expectations were 30-33 LPA Cut to, she was the only one till final round and they were processing her offer letter at 31LPA Find your star and make it shine bright!

I have Angular, DotNet, SAP cloud etc major experience in Startup as well as MNC. but still getting paid below 5LPA. I want to switch but past 1 year , it's getting demotivating feeling. I am unable to switch despite of leetcode, code chef etc.

I come from a good college (tier 2) with very good placements but because of mental health reasons ( I was severely struggling) i had to skip placements. After being unemployed for 4 months after graduation my family forced me into taking a job I never wanted. Very low pay, extremely toxic work culture and insane work hours. I don't even have energy or time left to prepare for interviews or even apply to other jobs. This job is slowly pushing me back into depression. And it even hurts to see that all my friends are earning 17+LPA base + stocks and other benefits, while I can't even get a 15CTC job. I feel my career is over and see no hopes for my future. Should I quit so I can atleast prepare for a better job? Any advice is appreciated.

I joined the company in Dec of 2021 and since then I have been completing udemy courses and company wide seminars and everything except work. I got into a project around June and till now I haven't done any work at all. When I ask the manager about this he always says the profile has been sent to the client, they will let us know about work and stuff like that. Towards December he just saw my messages and didn't even reply back. I was off-boarded from the so-called project a while ago and when I asked about this he says I'll be shifted to another project. "P2P movement" idk what it is. In summary: on paper I have 1 year experience but I don't have any knowledge about work and I'm functioning like I'm still a fresher. I don't think I can quit as I'm on a two year bond. I got this job when I was in very desperate times and I'm very grateful for it and the salary I'm getting but I'm still at a place where I can't tell anyone what work I did in 1 whole year in a company. Maybe I can prepare for some competitive exams or prepare for another job, but tbh I don't know anything about anything. My friends tell me to chill out since I'm getting paid for doing nothing but I don't feel that, I feel I'm stagnated to a point where I can't see where I'm going to end up in my career. I don't even know if I'm an experienced working professional or still a fresher.

My current salary is 42LPA. I am from IIT, have 7 years of experience and work in product. Honestly, my value in the market is higher than what I’m being paid but I am very demotivated to optimise for that. When I do see less deserving people minting more money, I feel that I am doing injustice to myself and playing the wrong hand. More and more though, the thought of earning more money chokes me a bit. I have dreams of building something of my own - that gives me control to build something my way and freedom to live my life as per my terms. But the mindset of “zyada paisa pareshaani hai” doesn’t leave me. My family also is not dependent on me and whatever is needed from my side, I actively contribute to. I also lack any motivation to focus on my investments and see my money grow. I just have money sitting around in my bank account purely for nothing I also look at my lifestyle choices from time to time and go into existential debate of why we need the things that we do. This has come to a point where I really do not understand my relationship with money and why we earn and spend it. For me at this point, it’s just a show for the world. There’s very little that you need, and really no limit to what you want to show. And I just don’t see a point in it anymore.

I have 4(2 years in machine learning.) Currently earning 10.2 LPA(Expecting a 10% hike). Am I underpaid?or fairly paid? Cause most people I know earn way more than me.I know I shouldn't be comparing myself to others.But I am not sure what is the market rate.

27 Male ,got an offer of 20.5 lpa. Most of the people I know here at grapevine are making way more and friends in my circle are making around 35-50 lpa. Now I am confused,I have a lot of questions in my head. Did I slack off? Or did I do okay?Cause I was avg in college(7.6 cgpa) tier -3 and started my job at non-dev role. I thought market was down hence I was happy with 20.5 lpa,but now I see folks making more money. My progression : 3 lpa to 5 lpa (Accenture for 2 years) service based S.A.P basis job. Drone tech startup: ML Engineer (2.3 yoe)[8-12 LPA] Now I will be joining an MNC : As Sr.MLE offer in hand (20.5 LPA) Overall I have 4.3 yoe. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I might be insecure,I cannot talk about this problem with my parents or friends (or anyone around me)
