SALARY Negotiation
Hai All working in a service based company around 4 years of exp CTC 8 LPA. Able to land an offer from a startup company with 12 LPA since I am in notice period, I got many calls from other service based companies WITCH. I clearly mentioned that I'm expecting 15 -17 LPA as a Backend developer which they said was okay. But after all the interview rounds they are not going more than 14 LPA and during negotiation there are trying to put guilt on my side (why are you switching after having an offer, 4 years we can't give more than 13Lpa ) I just want to know how to negotiate well during discussions
Regarding negotiation you can say i think i bring more to the table with my skillset and say you are happy with X number and not a single word after it...if they have budget they will listen...if this doesn't work out....choose a startup with good branding from the offers you have...work for 1 year till appraisals...if the appraisal is not satisfactory then switch...
