How to identify fake counter offers while negotiatons? Is it possible someone to do it clean? Do HRs cross verify the offer ?
Just a curious question.
If i have 2 companies with almost the same offer(12 LPA), both are start-ups. Can I negotiate with 1 of them that I have another offer of around 14 LPA. And if yes do they ask for proof before joining or after? ...
I recently came across someone who faked the salary slip to get a better hike. Is it a common practice? Isn't this verified during background check?
