Is interview with MD/ED final one, only formality and can be sure to get the offer?

Hi all, How common is it to clear all interviews and still not get an offer? The recruiter confirmed I've cleared all interviews & asked for salary expectations etc. As next steps I've to wait for the hiring team to decide based on pay among candidates. Ive never had someone ask me details like notice period, current compensation documents post clearing interviews & still be unsure of offer. Can hiring managers please throw some light on this?

Hello folks, When applying for roles, I have seen HRs asking for your current CTC and expectations. Some even ask to share Fixed+Variable components. I have read that it is illegal in some countries but nothing about India. Is it so common in India to share these details. And if I wish to not share, do they drop my candidature for screening round?

Hi everyone, recently i interviewed for a product position in hdfc bank. I did well and was asked to submit documents for offer release. Everything was going fine. But, a couple of days later, I was told that there's a hiring freeze in hdfc. Can someone confirm this? Thanks in advance.

HR also confirmed my package over the teams call and assured that he would send the offer letter. But after that 6 days have passed, I have neither received any communication, nor have I received any offer letter. Typically how much time will they take to release the offer letter?

Hi there, Yesterday I have completed my interview with Accenture and today the candidature status is updated as Interview Completed and received an email "We're excited that you've reached the next milestone in your recruitment journey at Accenture." Does this mean I am selected in the 1st round and moving to the next one or should it be a general process of hiring? Can someone please confirm me about it?

So my friend cleared all 5 rounds at Volkswagen for software Engineer trainee. They told her in the HR round that she was selected later they surprisingly took one more round named as technical discussion. Where they asked her some Hr round questions and technical questions. But she hasn't received any offer letter from them. Can someone who is an employee at Volkswagen Pune or someone who is also expecting an offer letter please let me know if they have any updates?
