Feel perpetually burnt out!

I feel perpetually burnt out these days. A few weeks in office and crave a holiday. Is it just me?

Earlier, used to feel so fresh at work.

I’m lacking motivation now. What’s wrong with me?

Could be a temporary phase. Don't give in to the negativity around...take some time off if possible and rejuvenate yourself. If the work isn't interesting anymore see if you want to switch the division or get a new role or even a new firm as well.

It would be a good time to self evaluate as to why you are feeling burnt out.

Usually if it is a work related stress then best take a few days off (Provided you have the option) and completely forget about your work. And I really mean it when I say completely forget. People tend to keep tabs on work even when they are on a time off which defeats the purpose.

On the other hand if you feel the issue is not related to work but something more i.e. something like toxic work environment, emotional distress, personal reasons etc then try to be open to the fact that it might be time to move on from the job or reprioritise things.

Ultimately it is your mind telling you that something needs to change and only you can answer what it is.

While both Ramsay and Dietcoke have suggested the right things.

I would suggest to immediately introspect on whether this role/work/product is interesting any more or do you see yourself passionate about it..

Also, no harm going in for a therapy session, it could reveal a lot more than just what's in the surface.
