I am looking forward to transitioning to Business Analyst role from a consulting role, any suggestions?

Hey everyone, So I have done my Bachelors in Engineering and I am thinking of switching to the role of Business Analyst. I was wondering if anyone could help me out wether it’d be a good idea or not also if I make the switch which skills or tools should I work on to make my profile look good or stand out. Other than that I am thinking of doing MBA so I am starting to prep for GMAT too so if you guys could give input on that would appreciate that. Thank you. The reason being for me switching is that my field is not giving me any job openings or opportunities which I can look or commit for a longer period of time.

Hello folks, I am currently in the field of Audit with an experience of 1 year under 1 of the Big 4 accounting firms. However I would like to explore more since this didn't catch my interest and the work life balance is shit!!! So I am planning to get a certification of Business Analytics. Hello Everyone, Post my MBA, I have joined Wipro as a Business Analyst. Its been almost an year with Wipro & have prior work experience of 3 years in non IT field. Currently looking to upskill myself. What certifications would you recommend in BA/Consultant/Project management role? Also,as I do not come from an IT background, would you recommend taking any tehnical certifications/courses for a better switch later?

Total YOE : 5 Business Analyst Experience : 1 yr Skills : Power bi, SQL, Tableau, SAP, IBM COGNOS, BPMN- ARIS, JIRA, little knowledge of python, Advance Excel. I used to work as a Business Analyst, currently working as Senior Data Analyst. I want to go back towards the business side only. Any suggestions on what are new skills to add on in Sql, Python, Power bi, tableau and excel?? I was thinking of starting with databricks.
