[Thread] Grapeviners š earning less than Rs. 50k/month. How do you manage your expenses?
Very curious on understanding this from Grapevine. Really wish to understand how do you all think about managing funds.
I don't think my lifestyle is extravagant, but it feels like 30k barely covers rent, commute, and groceries. According to what I've heard and read, living costs in metros make it hard to get by on this amount. Iām genuinely curious to know how others are coping and saving (if it's even possible)
In hand - 24700/- Title : Operation support Company : IBM Exp : 2 years
How to survive :
PG rent three shared : 7000 Train to home once a month : 2000 Going out and Zomato : 2000 Lunch from the office : 2000
I live nearby and walk to office I sent it home : 10,000
Savings : 0
The key here is to sleep in on the weekend and order 1 meghana biriyani on saturday , Eat half , save rest for sunday . And always eat PG food , whatever is available.

I am in a remote company and i like the wfh setup and staying with the family but i stay in a tier 3 city and there is not much to do on weekends.
I would like to know monthly expenses for a family of 3, husband, wife and an infant in bangalore... Considering a decent upper middle class lifestyle..
