Guys, what skincare routine do you follow to reduce acne and oily skin?

Do mention products you use. How are the “minimalist” products?

All products are gimmick. What you really need is a balanced diet + some regular exercises to regulate that metabolism, an oil clear face wash (anything which doesn't burn/react on your face) and a moisturizer (can be a cheap cold cream as well).

I have come a long way in my life by being confident of my existence irrespective of how my face looks. Do not fall for the cosmetics products and their baseless claims.

Cheers!

Exercise, balanced diet, stay indoor, avoid stress. This is all you need for a good skin. Aside that, you might wanna avoid tanning. Apply sunscreen when going out, use a light scrub, also use scrub or fashwash only if you don't have whiteheads. If you have whiteheads, best to lower stress and avoid touching your face. Do not overwash your face every few seconds. Our skin is capable of handling dust and pollution but rubbing the face can cause irritation to any acne or leave the pores open for the pollution to enter. Just wash once in the morning and once before sleeping. Don't use any bleach and avoid spicy food. Not to mention, avoid using soap on the face.

Well products are not prescribed or suggested by dermatologists/skin specialist. Don't believe in social media marketing hype products. For better results show to doctors.

I try to follow this process, experimenting with brands salicylic acid based facewash daily (current Nivea) vitamin c serum weekday nights (Brillare) retinol serum weekend nights (Minimalist) light moisturizer daily (Nivea)

Have got visibly good results over course of 2 months, someday I forget the serum part, but I bath daily and facewash + moisturizer, also using a seperate face towel
