Has HR ever told anybody that they pay their colleague more even when you both are doing the same job just because the colleague holds an MBA?
sounds shitty but have heard such stories
Yes, it happens a lot and many are aware of the same. Salary is different at same level, some people get promoted faster because they have more work experience than you. In my company, MBA will be having higher salary and rank but will be doing same job which a graduate is doing
A follow up question on this. Is this a full time MBA from a tier 1,2 college in India or just some other MBA?
Tier 1 MBA vs Tier 1 engineering
Yes, in this case they’ll pay higher for the tier 1 MBA grad.
Why would any HR to do that. In fact most HRs give scarce information to anyone.
Happened to a colleague of mine. She was told she doesn't have a PhD though she and her colleague does exactly the same work (so do I, but in a different team). Actual reason was she works and the other girl works and socialize. Find the actual reason perhaps
True, there's always more to a story
They don’t say this, but when I came to know it felt very bad also they use mac book and have different wfo policies
