How do I setup my Dual Screen Setup at my Home ?

Hi all,

I work in the data domain and mos I am setting up a dual screen setup at my home. I have to fix the place of the mount of my monitor. It will be a 27 inch screen. I would like to know what is the ideal setup ?

Should the laptop be on left side and monitor on right side or laptop on right side and monitor on left side OR Monitor on top of Laptop.

Please note : I work in Data domain and would mostly be working on SQL and BI tools.

I am doing this for the first time and really confused about this.

This would purely be personal preference — you can even put laptop on top of the monitor! Experiment with it and see what's more comfortable.
