How do you trust whatever is posted on Grapevine?
For me it’s a Reddit for corporates. There is no way I can authenticate anything which is posted. Does discussions on grapevine make any impact on your decision making about joining or not joining the firm?
Trust, but verify. Use your own logic.
Even after verification a user can end up lying. Take everything on internet with a pinch of salt.
You forget that "anonymity" is a super power in itself. People will say and share things, that they would never do otherwise. That is why LinkedIn for example has become the cringe fest it is.. people trying to act in a certain way, purely charade
"reddit for corporates" i searched reddit in this app and i saw this post... i knew it couldn't not have been mentioned.
And, to be fair, its 2023, any sort of media platform/source is just mostly looking for clout, be it by crying or by lying.

Just saw an ad for Grapevine on Reddit. Always thought of Grapevine as the Reddit for Indian working professionals. Isn't it ironic that they're advertising here? Makes you wonder if Reddit will start advertising on Grapevine next! 😆
