Ritesh Agarwal seems a bit fake on Shark Tank. Feel like he acts too nice and simple minded. People who worked at Oyo, is this portrayal accurate?
Or is he just managing his image prior to Oyo IPO?

How is OYO doing ?
In last 6-8 months there has been lot of layoffs and many startup getting scrutinised due to funding etc..
But I can’t see Oyo name anywhere… Not much layoffs or nothing on their crunch.
Are they doing good or successful?

Oyo has changed a lot, in its offering, business/rev model.
- It reduced its own properties by ~50%
- Changed revenue model to revenue sharing to decrease business cost imposition
- Focusing on mass premium and premium segments: increasing per transaction value instead of increasing volume of transactions
- Have just become profitable
I think it's a good turnaround for them. And now that they're going public and rumours about IPO, I'd say they're on the right track
