Massive layoff at oyo
Heard from a friend that about 40 to 50% workforce to be fired. Saw some post on Linkedin from product and tech folks working at oyo with open to work tag.
Irony is Airbnb had the best quarter ever.
In last 6-8 months there has been lot of layoffs and many startup getting scrutinised due to funding etc..
But I can’t see Oyo name anywhere… Not much layoffs or nothing on their crunch.
Are they doing good or successful?
Oyo has changed a lot, in its offering, business/rev model.
I think it's a good turnaround for them. And now that they're going public and rumours about IPO, I'd say they're on the right track
That is fir ipo, post ipo they wont care shit about profit

This is an after thought from what happened at Mojocare and Gomechanic.
I too have been at a startup that was upto similar stuff. Was really large at one point, until everyone figured something was off.
For me, the first year or ...
Not sure what the right thing to do is. But honestly, the corruption problem seems to be bigger than just 1-2 startup...
