Just an amusing observation. I see someone I haven't seen at all post on LinkedIn and they'll be active for a few days, announce a job change and immediately go back to hibernation!
I, myself, am guilty of it! While I try to be active on LinkedIn regardless, I do see a spike in my activity when actively soliciting a new client as opposed to when I'm comfortable with one :D

Same! I have my own practice and I can't really rely on job applications The only thing I can do is build a good enough network and reputation
But it's SOOO tough and tedious to post everyday on LinkedIn! Especially since the whole platform is so saturated with repetitive, subpar content :/
I only started using LinkedIn 3 years into the job to promote my blog and honestly that along with reddit has been highest source of traffic.
