How to deal with workaholic senior engineer? He tries to eat my personal time by asking me to do things even post business hours

Idv if he works 24 hrs a day, but i dont want to code more than 8 hrs a day for which I’m paid. I have to go to gym, dates, or play with friends. He can work on the task if he thinks it is so urgent, i do t mind 1 or 2 days working late ocassionally but not often.

Is he your manager? If yes then try to reason with him about your preferences. If he doesn't understand check if you can switch to a better team. If everyone works like that then switch the company If he isnt your manager then just dont respond to him 😂
