How to streamline things for a product team
I'm a designer working at a early stage product startup. Our product team is of 5 Devs/ Engineers & 3 Designers (including me). We have created roadmaps, followed sprints, tracked but they were never efficient as there were lot of ad hock high priority tasks we needed to take.
I couldn't find any helpful resources specific to the situation. Could you please share any articles / resources / give me a right direction on this.
Been there...roadmaps, sprints won't work if there are Ad hoc high priority tasks and these are generally those where founders see quick money coming in example they want to launch a feature requested by a couple of their users, they put a blindfold on their future vision and just start to please their users Talk to founders about long term vision of the product and how to put an end to those ad hoc tasks, believe me adhoc tasks are the only issue and if not fixed you will find team members losing their focus and enthusiasm and ultimately leaving
