I am thinking of doing a startup . I have good business acumen however I am struggling with the idea of getting the first 100 customers . Those who started a business , can you help with some insights please

Can I know from you which location?

First few customers need to be manually recruited. So talk to friends, acquaintances, people in LinkedIn network. Nobody will trust an unknown brand. Slowly it will spread with word of mouth if product is good.
Good thing today is that if product is good it will sooner or later get traction. Social media etc channels can also be explored .

1. Run a survey targetting your potential customers.

2. Get feedback and also mail id.

3. Give them something for free and then if it's good they will pay for it.

MvP will also be tested and u will get 1st 100 customers.

Tried and tested method.

Else run a campaign targetting keywords used by competition n get 1st 100 customers.
