I got placed via campus this year, completed the intership and waiting for FTE but they are saying you need to complete a test before joining FTE not sure what they are upto, also as a fresher I am really afraid wether they will give me full time job ( i was hired for FTE) . I started searching for jobs via naukri and linkedin but all I face is rejection, everyone is looking for experience not sure what I am going to do
Yes, Tata Elxsi did let some people go last year. Freshers often need to pass tests before getting full-time roles. Keep searching and upskilling. Stay focused and don't lose hope.

Yes, it is true that last year Tata Elxsi layoff happened and a few employees were asked to leave almost one year after they joined the company. They took this decision mainly because they were not able to generate more revenue than they expected. This put many employees in a tough spot. I can tell you about it because a relative of mine also had the same experience and it took her several months to get another job.
