I understand the concept of this app is to stay anonymous and discuss news related to work and the economy but HEAR ME OUT what if….
We have small meet-ups like people who are in the same city who are interested to catch up and do things. Most of the people working in places like BLR / Pune / Mumbai etc. are more often than not people who come from other places. Freshers don’t really have a circle here to do things with. So if people are interested to unmask themselves and meet up with each other do you think that would be a good idea?
Why would anyone be brutally honest on Grapevine if their masks are taken off? Feel it is a stupid idea and please lets not make this platform into another LinkedIn
Idk. I mean only the ones who are comfortable. Besides it’s not like I want you to meet your manager or something. I’m just saying then different people here. Most of em are from different companies and different roles.
If you’re comfortable meeting people then okay go for it. If not no worries.
Me personally I would have no issues even if the mask is off.

I think there is a Grapevine discord.
However I feel like if there is a discord then it will move the traffic from here to there due to it being the same system of anonymous identities and people mostly using text as mode of communication and if they structure it with channels then you’ve got the same thing as Grapevine. Not to mention you have other features such as voice , video and bots to keep it more engaging.
