I'm now unsure if I should drop resignation paper.. becoz I got an offer from Infosys but DOJ is after 60 days & in I've NP of 90 days.
Got an offer with date of joining as 60 days, and I'm not serving notice period, and in my current company notice period is of 90days. I have talked about this to Infosys HR, she mentioned that once I share her my exact last date, she will share me the revised offer letter.
-
Should I put resignation? Is the risk worth taking?
-
And can I also request for change in location in revised offer? Or it can't be changed anymore?

Faced the same scenario.
- I sent a mail to hr stating that I have 90 days notice period, assuming I will be resigning tomorrow (next working date), would be able to join by X date. Please share revised offer letter with new joining date
- Also, would request you to please check if I can join for this location.

Post that, did they send you the revised offer? Or they need any proof that I have dropped the paper on this date? Or just mentioning the date is enough?

Just mentioning the date was enough, you can't resign unless you have proper offer letter. I was informing hr over call and then would shoot the mail.

What's your YOE? You can mail hr looping in on boarding team and ask for a revised new doj And also would you mind me asking how much infy offered you bro?

You can put your resignation
They will change your DOJ once you resign and update your Last work day
It happened for me also

When i got offer from infy DOJ was within 90 days of my notice period . I requested for change in DOJ and they revised . Twice or Thrice you can revise the DOJ .

Following post for suggestions......
