The driver story is just smoke screen. The case has attracted too much media attention. They are too rich and things wont change over one case. If the police has not botched the investigation. I expect the lower court to declare this an offence and punish him with some jail time. Media will rejoice as victory, politicians will claim victory, police will say their stand is vindicated. Every body goes home happy.

They accused will approach the higher court for appeal and bail will be granted. And then business as usual - thareek pe thareek. ... The accused will finish his MBA from some western university and join board of his family business. Everyone lives happily ever after...
