Why do you say that?
the control centre is ugly af! looks so asymmetrical and the photos app, oh gosh itβs a mess. plus the home screen and app icons customisation doesnβt look all that great either
plus additional steps to turn on data and bluetooth which is also very confusing because i keep turning on airdrop instead
Having worked in the field of technology for over a decade as well as an active iOS user, I was excited to test out the new features in iOS 18. But after only a week, I'm bored and I really think iOS 18 sucks. On latest smartphones, what was once perfect and smooth experience has been replaced by ongoing issues, frequent app crashes, and slow performance. For its ambition, the UI improvements appear rushed and difficult to use. There has also been a major reduction in battery life. Sincerely, I'm thinking of upgrading since I miss iOS 17's reliability and simplicity. This update simply falls below of Apple's typical level of quality.
As an iPhone user, I get what youβre feeling currently. The statement that you made is absolutely true. iOS 18 sucks for sure! I personally feel this upgrade was absolutely unnecessary, as it is only making my device slower. Iβve been facing lagging issues and the battery seems pretty buggy. And donβt even get me started with the gallery! The gallery app also condenses the all pictures on one page. This is why Iβm having trouble finding my recent snaps. Also, without the Apple Intelligence, my iPhone feels very incomplete. I want the iOS 17 version back too π£
I like 18 more. Maybe I am a big tech accelerationist
