Is RVCE tag a good college tag?

Inside Bangalore it's got a pretty good rep.. If they know the college that is. Most people don't care. Not as strong as an IIT/IIM tag.

RVCE = JU = IIEST = NSIT = COEP = AUC
These are regional colleges and only local people or companies will know about them.
How many of the colleges do you know from the list I've aforementioned? All of them are kinda in the same league.
IIT tag is more valuable, RVCE tag is also respected but not as much as IITs
It’s world famous in Karnataka. Placements could be tricky because not everyone will bag that 12-20 LPA job (true for any college)
Overall, if tis the best college one is getting admission to - absolutely go for it. Also depends on the brand that the student is getting.
